I did share private information, and while I believed at the time that it was relevant, it was still wrong of me to do so. That doesn’t excuse how the situation escalated, but I don’t want to paint myself as a pure victim either. That being said, I still stand by my decision to cut certain people out of my life because I refuse to let my boundaries be disregarded or to be used as a pawn in someone else’s drama. I actually removed myself first before anything else could happen, because I knew I wanted no part in whatever this was turning into.
