Dear Diary,
Can we talk about obedience? I usually don’t find it easy, but there is something calming about surrendering to direction. It takes work but I am learning not to question, only to listen, absorb, and follow. This is how my busy mind finally gets to rest.
I notice how much lighter my days feel when I let go of control. There is comfort in the structure, in knowing someone else has a plan, and I just have to carry it out. It is humbling and honestly a little intoxicating to set my pride aside.
I am grateful for the guidance I receive, for the correction when I stray, for the patience when I fumble. I am learning to find beauty in being shaped, refined, and even disciplined. It reminds me that strength is not always in leading, sometimes it is in yielding.
I end the day feeling softer, more pliant, and oddly proud of my own compliance. It is a strange mix, humility and pride together, but I guess that is the point.
