Hey, all. This morning, this sweet gentle giant passed away. It was 100% unexpected and I kind of feel like a shell today. We rescued him when he was a tiny, shy boy and he turned into the best alpha of the pack we could've asked for. I'd say he'd never hurt a fly, but he was our protector (and loved to catch flies out of the air). He was always waiting by the front door, doing a little shimmy dance because he was so excited to greet us. He loved being hugged and held, and was always at our feet waiting for food to hit the floor. I'll be taking today to collect myself, finish up some last minute packing, and regularly scheduled posting should continue tomorrow. Hug your fur babies for me. He will be deeply missed.
