totalled my car omw home from an interview:/
so from 5/3 to present day.
ive been out of work since the 3rd of may. applied left and right but hadnt heard back from anyone until recently. anyway a good friend of mine pointed me in a companies direction and i got an immediate response to set up an interview this past tuesday. after that interview i was promptly onboarded and scheduled. as i walk out to my car i got another phone call to set up an interview the next day with another local security company for an armed position. i get to the main office wednesday to fill out my application then was seen for my interview. the interviewer said he had no problem paying me 25$/hr for an armed position so long as i had my cert for the caliber i carry which i do. all he needed was for me to bring my weapon and vest for inspection. i race home to get my vest and magnum. gave it a quick inspection of my own to ensure it was presentable which it was. so all i needed was to find the lock for the travel case. anyways back on site, the supervisor who interviewd me takes a quick look gives me a thumbs up then asked me lock her back up and return my piece to my car. after doing as instructed, he then hands me over to another supervisor. this gent took me in another room along with another sup y de huevos they explain to me why they cant allow me to carry my revolver working under them🤦🏻 and they could only offer me 20$/hr for an unarmed position. this really got under my skin because im very partial to my magnum and was about to walk out on them... truth is i really needed to start generating some real income again and they promised me theyd send me to one of their instructors for me to get certified to carry said new piece soon as i am in posession of a mag fed side arm chambered in 9/40/45. so i get onboarded and scheduled in. omw home i rear ended an suv. was stuck in traffic for over 2 hours and had no money for a tow. i begrudgingly start calling those closest to me for some assistance so i can get this dirty ole bitch of an eye sore to a local junk yard. i was so done with the hands life had delt me thus far i decided to walk home from the yard: several barrios apart. i have no idea where i managed the energy for my first graveyard shift that night. bueno a lo que iba, i was luckily able to reach the yard before they closed. thankfully they cut me a fair amount for this P.O.S. i was able to pay back the favor for the tow and put down half on a S.A. 1911 milspec at my favored local shop. still annoyed that now i have to buy a new holster/extra mags/munitions and have to requal for 45 but ive been wanting a new piece and was able to attain means for stress shopping, hey i was able to walk away from the wreck in one piece plus now i have 2 real jobs along with my favorite side hustle🙃 all very promising and lucrative. excited to bring my new piece home in a week💀
