Pre fight morning shakeout from my last MMA fight in October last year. Can’t wait to be back!
Main reasoning for this sort of morning workout on fight day is to help normalize the body after a hard weight cut.
I often wake up feeling bloated and groggy after cutting a ton of weight and then gaining almost 20lbs overnight so a quick morning sweat helps my body feel normal and hungry again.
